Hair has always been my thing

Over the years I became obsessed with the detail behind it - colour placement, realism, movement, tone and creating hair that makes women feel like the best version of themselves.

THE STORY CONTINUES

My journey into wigs started during maternity leave, when I began learning wig making and ventilating by hand. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion, and during lockdown in 2021 I took the leap and started creating and custom colouring wigs myself from home.

At first, I focused heavily on bespoke custom-coloured wigs, using my hairdressing background to create more realistic colours and finishes than I was seeing elsewhere. But as the business grew, I realised there was a huge gap in the market for wigs that looked beautiful and realistic without feeling out of reach financially.

A lot of women simply wanted good hair again.

Not celebrity hair. Not “Instagram” hair. Just realistic, wearable hair for everyday life. That became the foundation of Rhianne Woods Wigs.

Today, I offer 100% human hair wigs designed with real women in mind

Women going to work, doing school runs, attending weddings, rebuilding confidence after hair loss, navigating menopause, alopecia, chemo, stress-related thinning or simply wanting an easier solution for their hair.

What makes my approach different is that I come from a hairdresser’s perspective first. I understand how colour should fall, how hair should frame the face, how density affects realism and what makes a wig actually look natural in real life — not just online.

Everything I do is built around creating wigs that feel wearable, realistic and comfortable to be you in.

Based in Liverpool, I offer private in-person consultations where women can try wigs on in a relaxed environment, ask questions openly and be guided honestly through the process.

No pressure. No overwhelming sales talk. Just real advice, realistic wigs and support from someone who genuinely cares.
